Yale's 11.7 mm lightweight Arborist 24-strand polyester climbing rope. 0.7mm larger diameter than Blaze for improved hand control but does not impede the use of mechanical devices. Excellent handling characteristics and easy to see in the tree - designed for use with advanced climbing tools and techniques as well as traditional methods. Kernmantle construction (two ropes in one) - Blue Tongue keeps its round shape even under heavy loads. Great feel in the hand and excellent for knot-tying. Spliceable. Designed by Yale Cordage for use with mechanical descenders as well as self-belaying split tail techniques. Popular with competition climbers.
